iPod Touch = Ebay overload???

Being a bit of a tech junkie, I can't help but be excited about the release of the Apple iPhone in Australia later this year (date to be confirmed). It's been a long time coming and there has been much debate about whether the Apple iPhone will be 3G by the time it gets to our shores and the carrier is highly contestable.
For those of us too eager to wait (myself included), we have taken preliminary steps towards the iPhone by purchasing the iPod Touch...an iPhone without the phone and sms functionality.
Considering the time lapse between the Apple iPod Touch and the Apple iPhone (hopefully in production somewhere in the world), one can only assume that 1000s of eager iPhone enthusiasts in Australia have bought the Touch as a temporary measure.
So what I'm wondering if what will happen to the all the Apple Ipod Touchs once the iphone actually gets here?
Will Apple section of Ebay be overloaded with the Ipod Touch at bargain prices?
What are you planning to do with yours?
